Hockey season is just around the corner and that also means brand new opportunities for our junior members to play for the Eastern Hotshots zone representative team. This event is the pinnacle junior hockey event for the winter season for all aspiring juniors in Victoria.

The 2017 Junior State Championships will be held at the State Netball & Hockey Centre and Footscray Hockey Centre from Tuesday 4th to Friday 7th July, 2017. The competition age groups this year have remained the same as previous years with Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s.

This is a great way for young players to experience a high level of hockey competing against other talented kids from all over Victoria. This event will help to further develop skills under the guidance of seasoned coaches, in an environment that encourages them to improve and achieve their best.

Trials will be held on Sunday 7th May (U13 & U15) and Sunday 14th May (U17), at a time and place to be advised. Each player will need to nominate through the Hockey Victoria website and there is a nomination fee of $30. Player nominations close 10am Monday 1st May.

Anyone wishing to coach at the JSC are also encouraged to nominate for a position through the Hockey Victoria website.

In recent years our club has been represented by a growing numbers of players and coaches who have achieved some remarkable results.
