Men’s VL2 vs St Bedes | 3-3 DRAW | C.Johnson, K.Johnson, I.Prasanna
Whilst the Women’s team enjoyed the sunshine, the Men’s VL2 team was not so lucky with the weather. The grey clouds came and so did the rain.
Knox scored in the first few minutes of the game courtesy of a goal by Indi, although St Bedes followed with 3 goals in the first half, leaving a challenge for the Knox men. There was some great tackles by Radar, and confident saves by goalkeeper Dan Curtis. St Bedes were given the opportunity to increase their lead but sent a penalty stroke wide.
Communication was also very good throughout the game, and after a rousing half time speech from Bill, the men came out and scored another 2 goals in the second half. Well done to Fridge and Johnno for helping Knox to a 3-3 draw.
