2018 will be the ninth year of the HAVAL Junior State Championships (JSC). This event is the pinnacle junior hockey event for the winter season for all aspiring juniors in Victoria. Six metropolitan zones and four regional zones will play in the event in both boys and girls divisions for Under 13, 15 and 17.

The competing teams play x2 games a day Tuesday to Thursday and Friday is finals day for final ladder positions and play off for the championship.  All games are being held at either the Footscray Hockey Centre or the SNHC

This year the Knox Hockey Club is well represented with numerous players selected to play in this very high standard competition.

The JSC can be the beginning of a career path for many young up and coming hockey stars. It is an ideal opportunity to witness highly skilled junior matches in a professional format.
