The club is currently taking expressions of interest for Junior coaching positions for season 2020. The following positions are available –
Hookin2Hockey Coach
This is a paid position, required for 8 sessions x 3 terms on Wednesday nights (6pm-7pm). The key responsibilities are coaching the Hookin2Hockey and Stick2Hockey program for Under 10s, while engaging with the Co-ordinator and parents in the transition of players into junior teams.
Juniors Coaches
Ideally suited to senior players, parents can also get involved. The club will subsidise fees for players and if parents take on a role fees for their child will be subsidised.
– Under 12 Girls (training on Wednesday night, games on Saturday morning)
– Under 14 Girls (training on Tuesday night, games on Friday night)
– Under 16 Girls (training on Tuesday night, games on Friday night)
– Under 14 Boys (training on Thursday night, games on Friday night)
– Under 16 Boys (training on Thursday night, games on Friday night)
– Under 18 Mixed (training on Tuesday night, games on Friday night)

For those interested, the club is in discussions with HV about running a level 1 coaching course at the club and will provide coach coaching during the season to support those who take on these important roles. Both Head Coaches will also mentor junior coaches and provide support during the season
