Membership Fees

Annual membership fees for Knox Hockey Club are separated into the following components, as outlined in the tables below.

  • A Hockey Australia player levy, including Personal Accident Insurance.
  • A Hockey Victoria membership fee, based on your age.
  • A Knox Hockey Club membership fee, based on the membership type selected.

Please note that all fees include GST.

Both Hockey Australia and Hockey Victoria components are required to be paid up front to complete the online registration.

Payment by Round 1 is required to be eligible for selection. Knox Hockey Club operate a strict NO PAY, NO PLAY policy.

*Goalkeepers who wear club provided kit will be required to pay the full registration amount for the relevant section. All goalkeepers are expected to maintain their kit to a level deemed satisfactory by their section coordinator. This is to ensure the safety of all of our club members in line with standards set out by Hockey Victoria. Goalkeepers who own their kit are expected to do this at their cost.

Volunteer Levy***

To help our club run smoothly and support all the activities we enjoy throughout the season, Knox Hockey Club is introducing a Volunteer Levy for Senior and Masters members only (this does not apply to Junior registrations).

What is the Volunteer Levy?

The volunteer levy is a $50 fee that is added to the annual registration fees for Senior and Masters players. It’s designed to encourage and reward member participation in the many tasks involved in running our club, from helping out on game day to supporting off-field activities.

How Does It Work?

  • The $50 levy is added to your season fees at the time of registration.

  • If you choose to volunteer in one of the club’s approved roles throughout the season, you are eligible to claim that $50 back.

  • If you do not volunteer, the levy supports the club in other ways, including covering the cost of paid support where volunteer help isn’t available.

  • Levy must be claimed before 31 August 2026

Volunteering Opportunities

There are lots of ways to help out, and many of them are fun ways to be involved with your team and the club as a whole! Roles may include:

  • Canteen and/or BBQ duty (min. 4 hours)

  • Coaching or Assist Coaching

  • Team Manager

  • Hookin2Hockey Coaching (min. 4 sessions)

  • Committee or support roles

  • Helping at club events or working bees (min. 4 hours)

  • Getting a new club sponsor

  • Other activities approved by the committee

How to Claim Your Levy Back

Once you’ve completed your volunteer hours:

1. Fill out the Volunteer Levy refund form before 31 August 2026 HERE 

2. The club will process your refund, and the $50 will be returned to you via EFT.
