With a trio out to the shipping containers our men’s 1’s took on Old Melburnians.
While it felt like the middle of winter it made the supporters wonder why we support a winter sport!!
The boys started off well with the first half being very even between to two teams.
The home team got awarded a stroke in the first half to have the stroke taker miss everything.
Both teams go into half time at 0 all.
Second half our boys came out guns firing.
Hitting the score board early with a field goal to Wonka.
The boys decided that wasn’t enough and a Liz shot on goal by Steeny which was saved to become a nice rebound for Spud Lawson to put it away to get our boys 2-0 up.
Final score being 2-0 win to Knox the boys sung the song loud and proud!!
